Licensing & Regulations
Can I legally operate a short-term rental in Vancouver or nearby cities?
Regulations vary by city. In Vancouver, you can only rent your principal residence and must obtain a city license. Other municipalities (Burnaby, Richmond, Surrey, Langley, etc.) have their own rules. We’ll guide you through what’s allowed in your area.
My property is a basement suite/laneway house/condo. Is it eligible for Airbnb?
Eligibility depends on zoning, strata bylaws, and city regulations. We review your property type and provide clear recommendations before you commit.
Do I need a license before I can list my property?
Yes. Both city licensing and provincial registration are required in most cases. We assist you through the entire process.
Services & Operations
What services do you provide?
We’re a full-service management company. Our core offerings include licensing support, professional photography, listing SEO, dynamic pricing, 24/7 guest communication, cleaning & laundry coordination, and damage claim management. You enjoy hands-free hosting while we handle every detail.
Who handles cleaning and laundry?
We work with professional cleaning teams trained specifically for short-term rentals. They provide hotel-grade service, including fresh linens and restocking essentials, so your property is always five-star ready.
How do you handle guest communication?
Our hospitality team manages guest messages around the clock. From check-in instructions to urgent requests, we make sure guests are cared for 24/7 without owners being disturbed.
Do you also design or stage the property?
We provide expert insight into design and layout that appeals to travelers. If a full setup is needed, we can coordinate staging from the ground up and arrange professional photography once the home is ready.
Earnings & Transparency
How much can I earn with my property?
Earnings depend on your location, property type, and seasonality. Before onboarding, we provide a market forecast with projected monthly income so you know what to expect.
How do I get paid?
You receive your booking revenue directly — either per reservation or through a simple monthly statement, depending on the platform. We then invoice our management fee separately, so you always have full transparency on earnings.
Will I have access to the booking platforms directly?
Yes. You’ll always have full access to your Airbnb or other booking accounts. This means you can see reservations, payouts, and guest reviews in real time, while we manage the day-to-day operations on your behalf.
Risk & Protection
How do you protect against bad guests?
We use strict guest vetting methods, including platform verification, profile checks, and reservation controls. This reduces risk and ensures your home is treated with respect
What happens if a guest damages my property?
We handle the entire claim process with booking platforms. From gathering evidence to filing and following up, we work to recover your losses quickly and fairly.
Are my personal belongings safe if I leave them in the home?
We recommend owners remove or securely store valuables. That said, we enforce strict house rules, guest vetting, and post-stay inspections to ensure your property is respected.
Owner Involvement & Flexibility
Can I still use my property whenever I want?
Absolutely. You have full control of your calendar. Simply block off the dates you’d like to use for personal stays, and the rest of the time we’ll maximize bookings.
How much do I need to be involved?
As much or as little as you like. Most owners are completely hands-off — we manage everything. You’ll still have full visibility into bookings and payouts through your chosen platform.
What type of properties do you typically manage?
Our portfolio includes a wide range — luxury homes, condos, heritage houses, and unique farm stays. If your property has strong rental potential, we’ll create a tailored strategy to maximize returns.
